Tailored Services

We offer students with IEPs the experience to be in class with the fellow classmates. Most of our classes are instructed by teachers who are EL/Bilingual certified and endorsed, offering huge assistance in bridging the communication gap.
We also co-teaching instruction with small class sizes. That means more attention to your student that may need it as there are always 2 adults in the class.
We also provide direct reading support with Wilson Reading classes.
A co-teaching class is one where there are 2 instructors for the course. We offer co-teaching in Math, Science, English, and Social Sciences. Each of these courses have the General Education instructor that is able to focus on delivering the content as well as the Diverse Learner Teacher that is able to focus on the student(s) with the IEP.
Depending on the class, some of our classes can range from 10-12 students in a class, while other classes (such as our arts classes) can range to about 24-30 students in a class.
Freshmen can typically expect to have a full class load their first year in high school. They will enroll in each subject with a number of electives that we offer at the school. Students may request to enroll in the Perfomring Arts Program, which is the main focus at MAS or enroll in the Allied Health Program that is shared across the entire campus.
We have a number of strategic partners at MAS. Some of them are listed below:
